Woof is a charmer, a fluff-ball charmer with a little bit of attitude (not surprising based on his breed mix). He’s also quite intelligent, perceptive, and observant — Woof is watching every move you make waiting for just the right moment to jump into your lap. He is also quite agile, athletic, and likes to think. Keeping him challenged seems to satisfy his physical and mental prowess.
True to the Chow breed, Woof can be territorial and protective when it comes to his peeps yet gives fair warning when someone is not welcomed. And true to the Pomeranian breed, Woof seems to love to be the center of attention and isn’t shy when craving it.
Woof’s perfect match appreciates the combination and quirks of this mix and has an active lifestyle with no children. His age and intelligence makes him a fantastic candidate for high levels of training to help keep his mind occupied. While Woof does great on property here at the shelter, we will only be accepting applications from those who are experienced with the Chow Chow (mix) breed to help him through some of his bossiness in the home.
