We have bittersweet news for you today. Lola (known as Bear when she was with us) has crossed over the rainbow bridge. When this sweet 13 year old girl found her way to us, we really worried it would be hard to find a home for her, due to her advanced age. But she lucked out and found an absolutely amazing family to love her until the end! They even kept us in the loop with how she was feeling along the way.
Lola’s new family only had a short time with her, but we know they loved her dearly. They told us that when she came home with them, it was like she was meant to be there. It truly felt like she belonged with them. She was a fiercely loyal friend and a real smart cookie. While with them, Lola got to cuddle, play, learn, and experience the joy of boating!
We are thankful that Lola was able to spend the remainder of her life being loved, pampered, and treated like the princess she was. We are grateful to Lola’s adopters for giving a senior gal a chance and spoiling her right until the end.
