The SPCA of Anne Arundel County currently is interviewing for the position of Animal Caretaker.
This entry level position requires an enthusiastic and energetic person who is detail oriented. Animal Caretakers attend to the daily needs of the shelter’s animals, including feeding, cleaning, medicating and assisting with veterinary care. They work closely with management to ensure that all the animals receive only the highest quality of care. Animal Caretakers also assist with keeping the shelter clean and work with potential adopters seeking a new pet.
– A qualified candidate will possess a love for animals, be patient, and be able to lift at least 50 lbs. This job does require basic computer skills.
– Weekends and holidays are required.
