2020 Walk Sponsorships now available!

Our Walk for the Animals is May 17th this year, so don’t miss out on your chance to be a sponsor of or vendor at this event! It’s meow or never…

The Walk for the Animals is an annual SPCA event held at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis, Maryland. Participants in the “Walk” can form teams and raise donations for the SPCA in order to support our cause as they explore the beautiful forest trails and natural beauty of the park.

In addition to the actual “Walk”, this event also features a large Vendor Village where local businesses & community groups can sell their products or promote their message, a Food Truck Bowl where attendees can purchase tasty eats from local food trucks, a Kid’s Area where kids can participate in special activities, and the Cars & Critters car show where lots of foreign & custom vehicles will be on display.

By being a vendor at the Walk for the Animals, you will get a 8′ x 10′ space in the event’s heavily trafficked Vendor Village, where guests will have the opportunity to visit your table and learn more about your offering or purchase your products. All vendors must provide their own tent, table, chairs, décor, handouts, giveaways and products to sell, if applicable.

By sponsoring our Walk for the Animals, you get amazing benefits such as your logo on all event promotion material, a link to your website or social media on our main site, recognition in the SPCA’s newsletter, plus much more. Make sure you download the packet below for full details on the sponsorship levels and perks.

Dear Friends of the SPCA of Anne Arundel County,

As you’ve read in the press or seen on the news, the number of cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

in the United States has drastically increased over the last few days. Without any signs of slowing — and with

the speed that the virus is spreading — we have modified our existing shelter visitation policies.

Our focus remains on the health and safety of our employees and volunteers who are vital to the care of all our

four-legged guests.

-Until at least Monday, March 30 to comply with the current executive order of the Governor's Office, our shelter is closed to the public. Select services have moved to appointment ONLY. There will be no exceptions made.

-This includes animal surrenders, new donation drop off, Spay and Neuter Clinic appointments, foster animal appointments or any other business. Animal  viewings and adoptions are not being offered at this time.

-We are only accepting donations of new supplies. Again, donation drop offs are by appointment only.

-This policy will allow us to honor the practice of "social distancing," keeping of at least 6' away from one another to help contain the spread of the virus.

We also urge all potential visitors to  consider postponing scheduling appointments at our shelter

if you are showing any symptoms of the virus. We will continue to closely monitor the outbreak of

COVID-19 and return to our existing policies as soon as we feel confident in our safety.

Don't worry, our staff will still be on hand  to take care of the shelter animals and give them lots of love & care.

Please be advised we will be closed to the public on May 10th, 2018 - because we're getting a facelift!

The Keller Williams Flagship of Maryland (Millersville, MD) and its associates will be revitalizing the SPCA of Anne Arundel County’s Adoption Site for their annual RED Day Project! Please consider volunteering man hours on the event day or expressing your thanks on their Facebook page!
